Preparation Instructions
Best if baked from frozen on parchment paper. Bake these Water chestnuts in Bacon - For Hotel quality oven - 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes. Electric oven - 400 degrees for 14-20 minutes. Gas oven - 375 degrees for 12-18 minutes. Rotate baking tray 180 degrees halfway through baking process. Cooking times may vary based on oven.

These were ok but I bumped up the flavor a notch by creating a little glaze which made these the most popular apps during my recent dinner party cocktail hour. Use brown sugar, dijon mustard and a little maple syrup. Mix and brush on them. Cook according to instructions. Make sure you line your tin to avoid dealing with burnt sugar. I made a few batches throughout the cocktail hour and had some of the guests pass them. Easy peasy!
